CODE PIPING AFTER LUNCH

This presentation is a simple introduction to Code Piping requirements. it provides attendees with a basic understanding of the two piping Codes that are part of State Law, ASME B31.1 Power Piping and ASME B31.3 Chemical Plant and Petroleum Refinery Piping and their reference to ASME B31.9 Building Services Piping along with the interface with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Also addressed in brief is the concept of Certified Welding which is dictated by those Codes.

This two hour presentation can be performed at your venue for the small price of two hundred dollars ($200.00) plus travel and living expenses. CODE PIPING AND CODE WELDING

A morning or afternoon session or possibly an evening session with a break for a meal or snack. This presentation uses the one above before the break and attention to detail after the break which includes:

• A clear explanation of the deliniation of Code limits.
• The requirements for flexibility, using materials from the class on piping analysis.
• Piping tolerances and allowances, typical values and allowances.
• Piping practices for specific fluids.
• Unique piping systems (jacketed, lined, sanitary, and solids transport).
• Inspecting pipe welding.
• An open question and answer period, time permitting.

This four hour presentation can be performed at your venue for the sum of nine hundred dollars ($500.00) plus travel and living expenses. CODE PIPING WORKSHOP

A morning and afternoon session which can be separated into two mornings or two afternoons. A break is included in each half and the customer is encouraged to provide snacks and a lunch. This presentation uses the one above for the morning session then covers:

• Preparing piping drawings. A workshop in piping symbols and details
• Simple flexibility calculations.
• Proper application of safety and safety relief valves.
• Application of expansion tanks.
• Provisions for chemical water treatment.
• Insulating the hot piping.
• Insulating the cold piping.
• An open question and answer period, time permitting.

This eight hour presentation can be performed at your venue for the sum of seven hundred dollars ($700.00) plus travel and living expenses when presented in one day. If split into two days the fee is nine hundred dollars($900) When a luncheon or dinner is included, deduct $50.00 for each of Ken's meals.
